I decided to take photos of all my patterns and upload them to a site where I could view them all at once. I did. It turns out I have more than 100 patterns. The only ones missing are the ones I've made or have cut out. How did I get so many patterns?!! I've got to stop falling for those 99c pattern sales and start using the ones I already have. Yikes!

ReplyDeleteI think I have the same problem and I don't even hardly use the big 4 patterns. I'm getting a new cabinet this summer to store them.
ReplyDeleteJoin the club. I did an excel spreadsheet a couple of years ago of all my patterns. I originally meant to keep a print out with me to help avoid buying duplicates at the pattern sales. Now the list takes up a 1/2 inch binder! I haven't updated the list since January (so it doesn't include most of 2008's acquisitions), but I'm at line 615 on the spreadsheet & counting! Of course, international pattern magazines only count as 1!

There's always something better out there that you just *have* to have! I'm the same way, most of my patterns have never been used...
ReplyDeleteThe amazing part is that you have only 3 patterns here that overlap with my stash....but if it doesn't include the ones you have already made, maybe we are both choosing the best ones to make up!
